Melissa Duncan serves as Board Secretary of One Matter, helping support the governance, organization, and accountability required to build a responsible and sustainable nonprofit.
In her board role, Melissa supports the maintenance of organizational records, meeting documentation, governance processes, and communication among One Matter’s leadership. She works alongside the Board of Directors to help ensure that decisions are properly documented and that the organization remains aligned with its mission and responsibilities.
Melissa’s professional background includes healthcare communications, client services, project management, and sales-team management, with a focus on organized execution and outcomes centered around the people being served.
Her experience contributes to One Matter’s commitment to thoughtful planning, clear communication, responsible stewardship, and community-centered action. As the organization grows, Melissa helps strengthen the internal foundation supporting programs focused on technology and education, community resilience, and stronger connections between the Caribbean and its diaspora.
